| Xen's football team lost there second game today. But the team didn't seem to mind. They were happy with the way they played. They gave it all they had. |

Heidi, Xen and I went to see the movie RV. It was very funny. A good time was had by all.
We closed on the house in Florida. We no longer have a residence in Florida! |

Xen was sick today. He did not go to school.
After finishing work at 2:00 PM, I went to another job for the Office of Surface and Mining. I stay for 3 hours. I should be able to finish the job next Wednesday. |

Yesterday it was a high of 83 degrees. Today, it was raining and then it turned to snow. WOW!
Xen had football practice today and it was COLD! The tempature was 25 degrees and the wind chill was 5. Xen was not prepared for the cold. He was wearing a shirt under his pads.
We took him home early. |

Today it is 70 degrees with 10% humidity. For lunch we are grilling hamburgers for Xen and I. Heidi is a vegetarian. TOO BAD!
I washed both cars without breaking a sweat. I love low humidity. |

Xen's team lost their game. The score was 35 to 6. It was a learning experience for the team.
Then we headed out to Garden of the Gods. Heidi volunteered to work a both for the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center. Xen ran around checking out most of the activities. I stayed with Heidi at the booth. The Garden was celebrating "Earth Day".
After spending 5 hours at the Garden, it was off to the Ice Cream parlour. |

| I stayed home today and worked in the basement. I could get use to this working at home. No one interrupts your train of thought and you have limited distractions. |

| Xen was told at practice today, that he would be starting tight-end. He has worked very hard to capture that position. |

| Today was defence practice. Xen pulled his groin muscle Monday and was walking with a slight limp. He didn't do much running during practice. But he did do lots of push ups. When all the other players were running... Xen was doing push ups. |

Well 4% humidity has it's down fall. We had 30 - 40 mph winds and it has been very dry. We live in El Paso county, where we had wild fires.

The family went for a walk in the beautiful sunlight of Colorado. We stopped and ate lunch and walked back home.
We are going over to the Scialdone's today for Easter Lunch.
Lots of Food! Heidi and Nancy cooked while Mike and I sat and watched. The kids were outside playing most of the time. Great company and fun.

Today was the first game day. It was chilly and windy. The tempature was 55. The winds were 30 mile an hour bursts.
The Steelers won. 12 - 0 against the Raiders.

Xen had the day off for Good Friday.
After work I came home and washed the car. Heidi and I sat out side on the front porch. It was 68 degrees, a slight breeze and 12 percent humidity. It was a beautiful night.
Around 8:30 PM, we took Xen to get Ice Cream.
We came home and went straight to bed. Xen has his first football game tomorrow. |

Today was defense practice. Not much to report. Xen is on offense and stood around for most of the day.
They did practice some tackling and all the kids wanted a piece of Xen. |

| Heidi has been shadowing an older appraiser here in Colorado Springs. She is learning commerical appraisals from him. She seems to be enjoying it. |

Xen and his friend Connor, found a fox skull. They put it in water and then in the sun... to dry it out. Xen has plans to take it to school tomorrow.
It still had some flesh on it, which was causing a very nasty smell. I hope his teacher is as understanding as his parents! |

Today we are going hiking. High near 58 degrees and sunny.
Xen was carrying the back pack with the water up the mountain. He still was running past Mom and Dad.

Xen found a LARGE Quartz rock at the top of a mountain. I explained to him that if he want to take it home... he would have to carry it down the mountain side. He did it. About 500 yards!

I can't beleive it... SNOW!!!
But by 2:00 pm it was all gone. In Denver it was 50 degrees. Half way between Denver and Colorado Springs... SNOW. Then in Colorado Springs it was 48. Crazy... but fun! |

Xen was given his number and uniform today. He is number 31! He loves playing. He wanted to play defense, but the coach has put him on offense.
Monday, Xen will be playing a scrimmage against one of the other teams. |

| Xen is growing up way too fast. It was the boys day out tonight. Xen and I went to Chilis for dinner. Xen was ordering his own food and sounded so grown up. What happened to my little boy? |

| Xen started football after coming back from North Carolina. He practiced for 2 hours. He bloodied his hand but it did not stop him from standing up to all the kids that were taller and heavier then him. He really enjoys mixing it up with his team mates. |

APRIL FOOL!!!!
We are not going back to Florida. I pick up Heidi and Xen from the airport around 1:00 PM today. Heidi can't wait to get back home.
I am looking forward to getting the family back together. I miss them both. |

Well after a good run of 6 months, the Millers are calling it quits. We are packing our bags and heading back to Florida. The snow and cold weather have been a bit too much.
Heidi went to Florida recently and had the old house painted, inside and out. She had a landscaper come out and clean the yard. A pool guy is maintaining the pool.
After doing all this work to the house to sell it... she misses the Florida weather.
So we are heading back to Florida as soon as we sell this house in Colorado Springs.
