We had a hail storm in Colorado Springs. It was like a rain storm.. only it hurts. :)
I did some work for the Office of Surface and Mining in Denver. Just a couple of hours. A little side job. |

| Scott Bender was here for the Memorial day weekend. We were working on his sosocial.com site. He wants to redo it. Heidi took him to the Denver airport where he was wisked away... back to Orlando. |

Scott and I were up early working on his site. Heidi and Xen were off doing their thing.
We took Scott out to see some of the Colorado Springs sites. We went to lunch in Old Colorado Springs. An outside restaurant. We walked the festival that was going on in the main street.
Xen road a mechanical bull. What a hoot!
A three hour lunch. I could get use to that! |

Scott and I were up this morning, early, hard at work on his NEW stie. Xen, Scott and I went to lunch. Heidi was working on some paper work. After lunch, Xen and I took a break and went to see X-Men 3. It was a great movie.

| Scott and I spent most of the day working on laying out his new site. We were up until 3:00 AM. Xen and Heidi went to old Colorado City to the Annual Festival. |

| I took today off. Xen and I picked up Scott Bender from the Colorado Springs airport. Scott will be here through Memorial Day weekend. We will be working on his website. Scott has been a close friend for many years. |

I spent most of my free time loading the new computer. It is sweet! And fast!
It has a dual core processor and 2 gig of memory. It has 100 gig hard drive. SWEET! |

| My new computer arrive today. I purchased a new laptop. It was Heidi's idea. I need the tax write-off. I also got a docking station to go with it. A dual head, docking station. With the purchase, Dell sent me a FREE 19" monitor. |

The day started off at 7:30 AM. Xen had his LAST football game. They won 33 - 7.
At 10:00 AM, Heidi and Nancy were off to Denver to pick up Jack Hanna for the silent Auction at the Broadmoor Hotel. Poor Jack! Nancy took a picture of Jack, outside the Loaf n Jug store, where he offered to buy them lunch. Nice!

At 1:00 PM, Xen had his awards banquet. The team received individual trophies for there outstanding play for the football season. The Coach proceeded to hand out 4 special metals. On which went to Xen for "Most Improved Offensive Player". WOW!!!

At 5:00 PM it was off to the Broadmoor Hotel to do the Auction function. Jack Hanna was the guest speaker. He sat at our table right next to Xen. He spent lots of time engaging Xen.

I took the day off. All of the elementary schools in the district, participated in the re-enactment of the Civil War.
It was a beautiful day to die. The RED coats, the BLUE coats and the GERMANS came to give their all.
There were cannons, guns, swords and many children that were ready to defend our country.

Heidi was promoting the upcoming auction with Jack Hanna. She was on Channel 13 and followed that up with an appearance on the air waves at a local radio station 95.1.
She took the 4 baby raccoons with her. They were going to have a wolf... but the wolf was in no mood to be on TV or the radio.

My boss, at the Small Business Administration, heard a raccoon up in his attic. He chased it out and closed the hole where the Raccoon was entering the house. He went back in the attic to clean up and found 4 baby raccoons.
He called us. Naturally! I ended up bring the babies to the house. Heidi is nursing them back to health. |

We went out to a Brunch on a mountain restaurant. Not bad. But not the Radisson across from Sea World either.
We ended up going to "Mr Biggs". Basically a Chuckie Cheese on steroids.
Closed the day by going to Macaroni Grill.
We did this all with our closest friends - THE S-C-I-A-L-D-O-N-E-S. |

Xen won his football game today. It was a close match. The final score was 26 - 19.
After the game we walked to wings n things and had lunch.
I washed the car while Heidi cooked out. We sat in the back yard and at dinner. I was a beautiful 75 degrees. We rested and almost fell asleep in the cool night air. Xen was busy playing on his laptop. |

I woke up this morning at 4:00 AM and left for work, only to find out that it was SNOWING!!! It was supposed to rain... not snow. Not much of it was sticking, but what a surprise!
By 10:00 AM, all of it was gone. It isn't cold.
I have configured Xen's new computer with the lastest pretection in software. The Parental filters are on. He is safe to surf and game. |

Xen's football pictures were handed to us at his practice. We didn't buy the BIG package. We did that when he was 5. We did get the team picture and a solo of Xen.

For dinner we went out to a pizza place in downtown Colorado Springs. They are a speciality pizza shop. All the food is home made.
I am a big fan of the Calzones.

| Xen had a great football practice. All to the players were having fun rolling down hill, crab walking and sprinting. It was a beautiful day for practicing. Not too hot and not too cold. |

We went to a move during the afternoon. The movie was "Akeelah and the Bee". Good movie for a family.
We sat outside on the front porch while Xen read us a chapter from his homework book.
Nice breeze flowed off the mountain side across our front yard. NO Bugs! |

Xen did not go to football practice today. It was too cold and wet.

Xen has a Band performance tonight. He was sat all the way in the back of the group. The best we could get while he was actually playing his trumpet was his SHOE!
Xen would poke his head under the music stand when the announcement of the next piece the band was about to play.
We had a great time and the kids did a GREAT job.
I need to pay someone for better seats!!!

I am not feeling to well today. After a sleepless night and cold sweats, I was able to get up at 4:00 AM and drive an hour and half to work. But I really didn't feel like being there.
