Early morning
Leave comment
Up at 4:00 AM and on the road. We left Snowmass. We had to get back to Denver so I could get back to work. It took about 3 and half hours. We stopped off in Panera's for breakfast.

It has been a long and tiring day. I look forward to laying my head down on our bed.

Good night!

Birthday continued

Xen wanted to go to the Ren Festival. He brought his best bud... Matt with him. They had a great time. The big draw for both of them was the Vegetable Justice booth. This is where a heckler has tomatoes thrown at him. Xen and Matt sat there for about 1.5 hours watching.

Check out the pictures.

Very sad news...

One of my close friends died from cancer today. I have known James for more than 25 years. He was a great magician and a better friend. He ALWAYS had a nice word to say. He also was willing to share his knowledge of magic with everyone. He was soft spoken, but spoke in great volumes when discussing magic. I love this man as many did. He will be sadly missed.

I have provided a picture of James when he was jamming with me at my house. Circa 1982.

James... Alright! Okay!

Rodeo - not so good
Leave comment
We went to the Annual Penrose Rodeo with our dear friends... the SCIALDONE's. We stopped off at the Texas Road House for some dinner before taking in the sweet smells of the Rodeo. We saw wagon races, barrel races, bull riding and calf roping. All was enjoyed by all until the calf roping and everything fell apart. The kids started crying because the calf roping. It looked like it could hurt the calves. The kids were upset. After 4 or 5 tries, the kids realized the calves were okay and everyone was able to enjoy the rest of the festivities.

Here is Heidi, Xen and I after the Rodeo.

Rainy but fun

We all went to Manitau Springs and walked around the streets. It was raining on and off. We saw some old antique items in many of the stores. We went to the Mountain Chocolate shop and the boys each grabbed a candy stick.

Sick day

Everyone was sick. It started off with Zach throwing up, followed up with Heidi praying to the porcelain idol and Xen projectile vomiting. The only one not sick was Clay. We think it was food poisoning.

Clay Day

Clay was excited from the time he woke in the morning. It is his birthday! Nine years old. Randy did not get a load and was able to come to the house after 1:00 PM. He was there for the party and cake.
