After the climb we went to eat lunch and rest our old, old bodies.
We stopped and took a picture of the Jason's favorite Rock formations.

We went to the St. Patrick's Day parade in downtown Colorado Springs. It was different! Lame costumes, big gaps between participating groups and slow. Xen was enjoying it because toward the end they were throwing candy. It was a nice sunny day. The tempature was 75 degrees.

There was only one float in the parade.

This guy made the news along with 6 others. They were demonstrating the war and were not part of the parade participation list.

Today was such a beautiful day. The parents just were hanging out by the playground next to the school.

Notice that Mike drove his Hummer on the grass... because there was no other place to park. |

Heidi, Donna and Jason went on a hike. Heidi wants me to go with her one weekend. Jason and Donna were enjoying the causal walk.

We met the Rocks at Baskin Robbins Ice Cream before Jason leaves to protect the country. Something that we all appreciate, appreciate more than Jason will ever know. We wish him all the protection and love from all of our hearts. Jason... stay safe! |

We celebrated an early St. Patrick's day and my birthday at the Hoag's house. Jason will be leaving for Irac soon and we want to include him in the celebration.

The four families went out to eat dinner... once again. The Hoag's, Scialdone's, Rock's and the Miller's. We went to a Teppan style restaurant. (The chef cooks at the table) The kids sat at one table and the adults at another. As usual, we were the loudest families in the restaurant. See the Fantastic Four below.

After the great meal and camaraderie, we said our goodbyes. Jason and I gave a "man hug". Nancy thought it was very funny, so she took a picture for keep sake. Thanks Nancy!

I had to do jury duty. What a process! I was busy from 8:00 AM until 3:00 PM. I was not picked to say for the 3 day criminal trial, but I did have to go through the process of elimination.
I am so glad that I can not be called for another 18 months! |

The Sock Hop was a success! Kids had a great time. The fab four worked the kitchen distributing pizza and hot dogs.
Mr. Fogarty shaking hands with Kevin (The pizza supplier).

Mike marked the bracelets and counted the money while Jason passed out the pizzas with his million dollar smile.

Hank was in the sweat shop making the pizzas and shouting out orders.

And who was left to clean up???
